Job description

  • Perform Systems engineering including installation, configuration of simulators
  • Generates and administers HF assessment forms
  • Conduct systems engineering, installation and configuration of flight applications and simulators

Travel Requirement: Travel to vendor and other FAA facilities for testing is required.

Security Clearance Requirements: Applicants must be US citizens. If hired into an FAA position, applicants will be required to complete the FAA's Vendor Application Procedures (VAP) in which a portion of the process includes applicants being subjected to an investigation by FAA security in order to be deemed eligible for public trust or sensitive positions. If hired into a DoD position, applicants will be subjected to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Requirements

BCI under multiple contracts with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and commercial airline operators, BCI is looking to hire an individual to provide System Engineering support to multiple Aviation Programs. Specifically, the individual will have experience with Rotocraft and fixed wing aircraft to support a variety of weather and data product assessments. The individual should possess knowledge of airport infrastructure as it pertains to both aircraft and helicopter operability, airport/heliport lighting, and communications with ground support inclusive of flight dispatch and air traffic control. The individual will have experience in flight operations, flight control and preferably emerging aviation technologies.

The individual will have some experience with human factor assessments and preferably experience in assessing pilot and dispatcher workloads. Utilizing software tools for DR&A is required as well as being an advanced writer for required reports and briefings.

Job Location: Remote; Atlantic City, NJ

Job Start Date: Immediate

Shift: 8am - 5pm / M-F

Experience Required including Degree, Certifications:

A Bachelor's Degree in a technical field is required and MS in technical field is preferred.

The following are additional factors to be expected:

  • Experience in Human-In-The-Loop (HITL)
  • Flying Experience includes both fixed wing and rotor craft.
