IT Infrastructure Operations Specialist

We are seeking an IT Infrastructure Operations Specialist responsible for the daily support, maintenance, and management of IDF/MDF rooms and IT infrastructure environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with structured cabling, network rooms, rack management, and infrastructure operations, preferably within a healthcare environment.Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily operational support and maintenance of IDF/MDF rooms.
• Manage rack layouts, patching, cabling standards, and cable plant improvements.
• Support low-voltage cabling, power, cooling, and physical security initiatives.
• Conduct IT room inspections, remediation activities, and infrastructure cleanup.
• Maintain rack elevation diagrams, documentation, and inventory records.
• Coordinate with facilities, engineering, security teams, and vendors for infrastructure issues.
• Perform network port cleanup, equipment decommissioning, and hardware removal.
• Ensure IT spaces remain organized, compliant, and operationally ready.

• Experience supporting IDF/MDF rooms or data center infrastructure.
• Knowledge of structured cabling (copper/fiber), patch panels, and rack management.
• Familiarity with Cisco network switches.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with ServiceNow is preferred.
• Healthcare IT infrastructure experience preferred.
• Familiarity with UPS systems (Vertiv preferred).

Ideal Background: Data Center Technician, Network Infrastructure Technician, IT Infrastructure Specialist, or Structured Cabling Technician with hands-on infrastructure operations experience.
