Job description
We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join a fast-growing, profitable international scale-up in the travel tech sector. The company is redefining how complex travel experiences are built and sold through a technology-driven e-commerce platform, combining strong engineering practices with a growing focus on AI and experimentation. You will be part of a multicultural engineering team (~70 engineers) organized into cross-functional product teams, working on high-impact areas such as e-commerce, growth, and customer experience. About the Role This is a hands-on senior frontend role for someone who cares deeply about code quality, user experience, and delivery speed. You will play a key role in building and evolving frontend applications, while also leveraging AI-assisted tools to improve productivity and accelerate development cycles. As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will: Build and ship high-quality frontend applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript. Own features end-to-end, from idea to production, ensuring scalability and performance. Work on growth experiments, enabling fast iterations, A/B testing, and continuous product improvement. Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams in a cross-functional setup. Contribute to frontend architecture, component systems, and shared design systems. Improve codebase quality by reducing technical debt and promoting best practices. Use AI tools and automation to prototype, refactor, test, and document more efficiently. Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing, helping raise the bar across the team.
Requirements
Strong experience building frontend applications used in real production environments. Deep expertise in React and Next.js. Very solid experience with TypeScript. Strong understanding of clean, maintainable, and scalable code practices. Experience with component-based architectures and design systems. Good knowledge of frontend performance, UX, and accessibility. Experience with testing and code quality practices. Comfort working in fast-paced, iterative environments. Experience using AI or automation tools to improve development workflows. Strong collaboration skills in cross-functional Agile teams. Based in Spain. Nice to Have Experience with Next.js advanced features (SSR/SSG). Exposure to backend technologies (Node.js or PHP). Experience in e-commerce or high-scale products. Familiarity with event-driven architectures or APIs. Interest in AI-driven product development.
