We are looking for a Mid/Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a fast-growing and profitable international scale-up in the travel tech sector. About the Role This is a hands-on full stack role with strong backend focus, ideal for someone who enjoys building scalable systems and contributing to architectural decisions. You will work within a cross-functional product team (Product Manager, Engineering Manager, QA, Developers), helping to design and develop modern services and user-facing applications. As a Full Stack Engineer, you will: Design and develop scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript. Build and maintain modern frontend applications using React and Next.js (SPA & SSR/SSG). Contribute to a modular, event-driven architecture (EDA) ensuring efficient communication between services. Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to translate business needs into technical solutions. Define and maintain clean APIs and service interfaces (RESTful). Write high-quality, testable code supported by automated testing and CI/CD pipelines. Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical decisions. 3+ years of experience building backend applications with Node.js in production environments. Experience developing frontend applications with React, Next.js, and TypeScript. Strong knowledge of REST APIs design and integration. Hands-on experience with MongoDB, including data modeling and performance optimization. Experience working with event-driven architectures (EDA) and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka). Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and clean/hexagonal architecture principles. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git (GitHub Actions or similar). Strong focus on testing (unit & integration) and code quality. Understanding of observability practices (logging, monitoring, tracing). Experience working in Agile environments with cross-functional teams. Based in Spain with strong communication skills in collaborative environments. Nice to Have Interest or experience in Artificial Intelligence / AI-driven features. Experience in e-commerce platforms or high-scale environments. Exposure to PHP-based systems (legacy or hybrid environments).
