Job description
The Transport and Sort stream team is a knowledgeable team of multidisciplinary product managers and subject matter experts responsible for the design, implementation and testing of our Airports platform modules, while building the bridges between our development teams and project execution departments to ensure product and process alignment for all disciplines. We provide the total solution and transport and sort stream product deployment knowledge to develop, sell and deliver Airports solutions, followed by a strong focus on continuous learning and improving.
Your position
As an ESoT Content Engineer, you'll have a key role in the design and implementation of the 3D building blocks of all projects, enabling the Configure To Order of our multidisciplinary Function Variants with our Vanderlande Engineering Suite of Tools. The multidisciplinary design is followed by a data model enabling data engineering for all engineering disciplines with the Generator Suite. As a content engineer you will be part of a bigger team working on the implementation of our modelling libraries and playing a role in the rollout and use-support to our internal customers.
Our company has a way of working based on platforms; a solid set of standards linked to the engineering processes. Every three months you'll introduce all updates of our standards into our global organization. For major new developments you will prepare the organizational readiness to make sure all training and documentation required for new product introduction are available. In addition, you collect the lessons learned and close the loop with the ESoT user groups and competence teams.
We use all the functionality of the Vanderlande Engineering Suite of Tools maximizing the Configure To Order value of our product portfolio's enabling a predictable and reproducible execution of the engineering process with a global footprint.
Requirements
You have a bachelor degree in mechatronics, electrical, OT controls or IT technology with:
- At least 5 years of experience in an Industrial work environment.
- Good command of the English language is required.
- Knowledge of (multidisciplinary) project execution.
- Affinity with CAD-related software (Autodesk) and technical environments.
- Skilled in using Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and functions.
- Passionate about optimization and process efficiency.
- Enthusiastic about working with formulas to solve complex data challenges.
- Interest in (electro-)mechanical equipment and its integration into digital workflows.
- A strong mindset of re-use, standardization and modularization.
- Process driven team player and eager to learn.
Benefits & conditions
This position offers a competitive salary range of €3,800.00 to €5,600.00 per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance). Through exceeding performance expectations, you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale.
