Job description
As our Digital Project Manager, you will be instrumental in driving regional growth through innovative digital initiatives, supporting local businesses, residents, and social enterprises on their digital transformation journeys. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the digital future of the Borough and work within a collaborative and dynamic team committed to economic progress., * Lead and support innovative digital projects such as the Digital Surge Programme and Digital Venture Capital Fund, ensuring delivery aligns with strategic objectives
- Engage with local businesses, social enterprises, and education providers to identify digital support needs and promote development opportunities
- Develop and implement initiatives like digital grants and skills development programmes to boost digital capabilities across the Borough
- Manage external funding applications, oversee project monitoring, and ensure compliance with funder requirements
- Collaborate with regional partners on infrastructure developments like broadband and Smart Districts, helping shape the Borough's digital future
- Represent the Council at strategic meetings and foster strong partnerships across the public and private sectors
Requirements
- A degree or equivalent qualification, or at least 4 years' relevant experience in digital projects
- At least 2 years' experience delivering digital programmes and managing externally funded projects
- Strong planning and project management skills
- Excellent organisational abilities with the initiative to prioritise effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows applications
- A proven team player with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
