Requirements

Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance, * Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.

  • Experience in Software Development and Deployment, including analysis, design, integration, automated testing, continuous integration and deployment.
  • Experience with Java, containerized deployments (including Docker and Kubernetes), DevSecOps and Gitlab.
  • Experience working in a team-focused development environment, such as Agile/SCRUM.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Strong background in distributed systems, real-time or near-real-time processing, or autonomous system software
  • Experience with Java, Python, GoLang, and/or container-oriented development (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
  • Understanding of networking, messaging frameworks, or middleware used in distributed command-and-control systems.
  • Exposure to model-based engineering, simulation environments, or digital-engineering tools.
  • Experience working on IRAD, early R&D prototypes, or technology maturation efforts.
  • Experience working on Combat Systems solutions.

Benefits & conditions

The salary range for this role is 118,300 USD - 224,900 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
