We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Senior Lead Software Engineer, Infrastructure Platforms, to spearhead the development and management of cutting-edge solutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a innovative projects to drive scalability, reliability, and security across diverse environments. As a key member of our engineering team, you will influence the architecture of our infrastructure platforms, ensuring seamless integration with various cloud services and on-premises systems. Your expertise will empower us to deliver robust, scalable, and efficient solutions that meet evolving structural needs., * Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable platforms utilizing technologies such as VMware, OpenStack, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Rackspace.
- Architect and implement Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) models to enable flexible and reusable web services and APIs.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure components including Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), SaaS applications, PaaS environments, and IaaS solutions to ensure high availability and performance.
- Automate deployment processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, and scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, Python, or Ruby.
- Oversee the management of distributed systems and microservices architectures leveraging Kubernetes, Docker, and other container orchestration tools for scalable application deployment.
- Implement security best practices including identity and access management (IAM), system hardening, VPN configurations, and network segmentation to safeguard cloud environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop RESTful APIs and web services that support enterprise applications across multiple platforms.
- Drive continuous improvement through DevOps automation practices aligned with Agile methodologies while maintaining rigorous SDLC standards.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, OpenStack, Rackspace, or Citrix.
- Deep understanding of cloud architecture principles including SaaS, PaaS, IaaS models and Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs).
- Proficiency in managing IT infrastructure using virtualization technologies like VMware and Hyper-V.
- Strong knowledge of containerization tools including Docker and Kubernetes for deploying distributed systems at scale.
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet or Chef for automating deployment processes.
- Solid background in scripting languages including Python, Bash (Unix shell), PowerShell or Ruby for system automation tasks.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Cassandra alongside relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL for data management needs.
- Experience implementing RESTful APIs and web services for seamless integration across diverse systems.
- Knowledge of security protocols including IAM solutions, system hardening techniques, VPNs and network security best practices.
- Strong foundation in computer science principles related to operating systems (Linux/Windows), virtualization technologies and scalable system design.
- Proven ability to lead technical teams in an Agile environment while managing complex projects through the entire SDLC lifecycle.
