API Architect - Nashville

A large healthcare organization based in Nashville is looking for API Architects to join their Technology, Architecture, and Innovation team in Nashville. These resources would need to be local to Nashville and work onsite 5 days a week. We are seeking middleware/REST API developers who can think abstractly, interpret existing APIs and data models, and redesign, refactor, or build new where applicable. This role would be 50/50 designing/developing.

10+ years of development experience (middle/backend) Skilled in Python, and .NET or Java Experience with caching solutions like Redis Experience with Kafka or PubSub Experience with SQL, PostGres, or other relational databases Experience with big data like Big Table or Cassandra Able to both code and design Able to work well independently Able to work onsite in Nashville (near the airport) 5 days a week Familiar with API design principles (REST and OpenAPI)
