Staff Engineer Product Security

Key ResponsibilitiesLead the product security strategy, defining secure design principles and ensuring they are embedded throughout the development lifecycle.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and security reviews of new features and existing code.Architect and implement robust security controls, including authentication, authorization, data protection, and secure communication.Mentor and coach engineering teams on secure coding practices, security tooling, and incident response procedures.Drive continuous improvement of security processes, tooling, and metrics to reduce vulnerabilities and accelerate delivery.Requirements10+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong focus on security.Proven track record leading security initiatives in a large, fast-moving product environment.Deep knowledge of secure design patterns, threat modeling, cryptography, and secure coding practices.Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Experience with modern cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and CI/CD security pipelines.#J-18808-Ljbffr
