What You'll Do (Your Impact)

  • Lead & Develop a HighPerforming Engineering Team through coaching, recognition, and professional growth-fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Deliver Reliable, Secure, and Scalable Platforms with minimal unplanned downtime and strong performance metrics.
  • Drive Modern Engineering Practices including AIassisted development, DevOps maturity, automation, and continuous improvement.
  • Shape Engineering Frameworks by creating and maintaining best practices, patterns, and standards aligned with industry trends.
  • Align Technical Roadmaps to Summit's longterm strategic technology vision and enterprise priorities.
  • Enhance Member & Employee Experiences through thoughtful solution design, system optimization, and usability improvements.
  • Promote Agile & DevOps Excellence ensuring predictable delivery, continuous improvement, and strong operational discipline., Work is performed in a typical administrative office setting with proper lighting and climate control. Occasional travel to branches may involve exposure to outdoor weather and traffic.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in application development, systems engineering, or enterprise application support in a regulated environment, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing software development lifecycles, application support models, and crossfunctional technical teams.
  • Strong technical acumen in modern development frameworks, system integrations, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud), and DevOps tools.
  • Experience with AIassisted development and the ability to lead teams adopting AI tools and workflows.
  • Expertise with Agile delivery and building consistent engineering standards, processes, and performance metrics.
  • Ability to balance strategic planning with operational execution in a fastpaced financial services environment.
  • Strong analytical, problemsolving, and decisionmaking skills with the ability to manage risk and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex technical concepts for business stakeholders., While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to sit, stand, walk, and use hands and fingers. Occasional reaching above/below shoulder level and lifting/pushing/pulling up to 10 pounds may be required.
