Job description
HealthTECH is seeking a certified Epic Cadence Application Coordinator to lead a full-cycle scheduling optimization project within a Bay Area health system's correctional health division.
This is not a support desk role. You will assess existing Cadence workflows from the ground up, map pain points, design to-be workflows, configure the changes, coordinate UAT, support training development, and see it through go-live across two adult correctional facilities. You own the engagement from discovery through stabilization.
What You'll Do
Lead discovery across operations, IT, compliance, and training stakeholders. Map current-state workflows, identify gaps and pain points, and produce a prioritized improvement plan. Develop up to three solution options with recommendations. Design and configure to-be workflows in Epic Cadence. Build test cases, run configuration testing, and coordinate UAT. Support the development of role-based training materials and go-live readiness. Deliver weekly status reports and participate in steering reviews at each project phase gate.
Requirements
- Active Epic Cadence certification (required)
- Epic Referrals certification (preferred)
- Hands-on experience with scheduling workflow assessment and redesign, not just build or break/fix
- Comfort working onsite at adult correctional facilities (background check, fingerprinting, and facility clearance required)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead stakeholder workshops, present options to leadership, and work independently with minimal oversight
- Experience with Epic native reporting and dashboards
