Job description
- Design, develop and test software for automated machines and production lines.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, electrical and software engineers.
- Create and maintain clear technical documentation.
- Support machine installation, commissioning and performance optimization at customer sites when required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and security.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Automation, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Strong programming skills in C#, .NET, WPF, and XAML.
- Experience with Visual Studio.
- An interest in industrial automation, machine vision, robotics, or motion control.
- Experience with PLC platforms such as Siemens, Beckhoff, or Omron is an advantage but not essential.
- A proactive mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and within a collaborative engineering team.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites.
- Fluent Dutch and a good command of English.
