Job description

As a Senior .NET Developer, you will work within an existing Agile team to develop and maintain enterprise applications using the latest Microsoft technologies. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software while following established development standards and best practices., * Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using modern .NET technologies.

  • Develop desktop applications using Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF).
  • Build and maintain robust data access layers using Entity Framework Core.
  • Develop and optimize SQL Server databases and queries.
  • Work with MongoDB for NoSQL data storage requirements.
  • Integrate messaging solutions using RabbitMQ.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, architects, analysts, and business stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while ensuring optimal application performance.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and technical discussions.
  • Work within Agile development methodologies.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with .NET 8, .NET 9, or .NET 10
  • Solid experience with C#
  • Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF)
  • Entity Framework Core
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • MongoDB
  • RabbitMQ
  • Experience developing high-quality, maintainable software solutions

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with Microservices Architecture
  • Experience working in enterprise or large-scale environments
  • Knowledge of software design patterns and clean architecture

Language Requirements

Candidates should meet one of the following language profiles:

  • French with passive understanding of Dutch, or
  • Dutch with passive understanding of French.

In addition:

  • Very good command of English is mandatory.

Eligibility Requirements

Candidates who are not citizens of the European Union and will be working in Belgium must already possess:

  • A valid Belgian work permit.
  • A valid Belgian residence permit authorising employment
