Data Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to support Anti-Money Laundering (AML) processes within a leading financial environment. You will play a key role in designing and maintaining high-quality data solutions, ensuring AML data is accurate, compliant, and aligned with business needs., * Collaborate with IT, Data Hub, Compliance, and Operations teams to gather, analyse, and translate business requirements into effective data solutions.

• Ensure AML data quality, governance, and integrity by defining business rules, monitoring data quality, and resolving data issues.
• Analyse AML Transaction Monitoring data to identify trends, anomalies, data gaps, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Design and maintain logical and physical data models to support reporting, analytics, and data pipeline development.
• Document data requirements, business rules, and technical specifications to ensure traceability and compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement by optimising data processes and promoting best practices in data management, security, and governance.

• Master's degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent analytical experience.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Data Analytics.
• Proven experience within AML, Financial Crime, or banking data environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and requirements gathering skills.
• Good understanding of Customer, Account, and Transaction (CAT) data.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience with data modelling tools such as PowerDesigner or equivalent.
• Experience with reporting and analytics tools such as Tableau, Business Objects (BO), or SAS.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality frameworks, IT architecture, and data security.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA is an advantage.
• Fluent in Dutch, French, and English.
