Job description

The Information Security Coordinator will strengthen the IT Delivery team and act as a security champion across the organisation. You will play a central role in coordinating cybersecurity initiatives, managing risks, supporting compliance, and embedding security into business and IT processes., * Drive and coordinate the information security roadmap aligned with business priorities and security strategy

  • Support security governance, policies, standards, and control implementation
  • Identify and monitor cybersecurity risks across an international environment
  • Maintain risk registers and coordinate mitigation actions with stakeholders
  • Support compliance initiatives related to ISO standards, GDPR, and NIS2
  • Coordinate security projects across access management, vulnerability management, data protection, and network security
  • Promote secure-by-design principles in IT projects and implementations
  • Collaborate with IT Operations and partners on vulnerability management, patch compliance, and security improvements
  • Support incident response, investigations, and post-incident activities
  • Develop security awareness initiatives and track performance indicators
  • Prepare security reports for IT management and leadership teams

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, IT risk management, or a related field
  • Experience coordinating security initiatives within a complex, international, or multi-entity organisation
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and controls (ISO 27001, NISTconcepts, or similar)
  • Knowledge of key security domains including vulnerability management, identity and access management, data protection, and incident response
  • English (Fluent) and French and/or Dutch (must have)
  • Ability to translate security requirements into practical, business-oriented solutions
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
  • Comfortable working in a coordinating role and influencing without direct hierarchical authority
  • Strong communication skills and a pragmatic approach to cybersecurity
