Devops & Backend Developer

In this role you will help design and evolve scalable backend services and DevOps environments to support advanced space missions and satellite operations. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, secure software and infrastructure, balancing performance, availability and cybersecurity. Your contributions will shape mission-critical systems from deployment to validation, enabling efficient and safe space operations. • Develop and optimise DevOps and CI/CD processes for secure, reliable software delivery
• Support deployment, integration and validation of new releases and infrastructure components
• Ensure system scalability, performance, availability and cybersecurity compliance
• Implement and improve automated testing strategies (unit and end-to-end)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams on mission-critical systems
• Maintain and improve Docker-based deployment environments and infrastructure automation
• Backend development using Java and Spring Boot

• Knowledge of Git repositories and CI/CD workflows
• Experience with Docker containerisation
• Familiarity with Unix / Linux operating systems and scripting
• Knowledge of SQL databases
• Experience with JSON and XML data formats
