Job description
- Lead mechanical design efforts for tower integration and layout optimization.
- Create geometry-based design space models and perform system integration within tower layouts.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external suppliers to review and validate designs.
- Support cross-functional teams to integrate components while respecting product management and production constraints.
- Identify synergies across projects to increase reuse of parts and reduce complexity and cost.
- Define scope of new designs based on Engineering Change Requests.
- Perform configuration management and maintain modularisation of assemblies.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure geometrical and HSE requirements are met.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Deep knowledge of CAD and PLM tools (PTC Creo/Windchill or Siemens NX/Teamcenter).
- Comfort handling large assemblies.
- Experience in configuration management and modularisation.
- At least five years of experience in a similar role.
- Advanced English (C1).
- Extroverted personality and ability to bring people together.
- Self-starter, results-oriented and deadline-focused.
