We are looking for a Developer with deep expertise in email marketing, specifically with hands-on experience building custom emails and automated flows in Klaviyo. This role will work across Act Second's agency clients and portfolio ventures, helping execute performance-driven email programs. You'll be responsible for building modular, responsive emails from scratch, optimizing flows, and supporting retention strategies through code-level execution. Key Responsibilities
- Email Development: Build pixel-perfect, responsive HTML emails compatible across all major platforms and devices, primarily within the Klaviyo ecosystem.
- Flow Setup: Design, build, and maintain automated flows in Klaviyo (welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase, win-back, etc.) for multiple brands.
- Template Management: Create reusable templates, modules, and design systems that allow for scalability across clients.
- Platform Execution: Own email development and deployment in Klaviyo, including list segmentation, dynamic content, and testing.
- A/B Testing & Optimization: Implement A/B tests on subject lines, layouts, and CTAs to drive engagement and conversion.
- Collaboration: Work closely with strategists, designers, and content creators to ensure seamless integration between creative direction and technical execution.
- Troubleshooting: Debug and resolve rendering issues across different clients and devices. Documentation: Maintain documentation for templates, flows, and deployment processes to ensure repeatability and efficiency.

-
Familiarity with liquid logic and Klaviyo's templating language.
-
Strong attention to detail and ability to translate designs into clean, responsive code.
-
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

Remote working, we are based in Barcelona. Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience with other email platforms (Braze, Iterable, Mailchimp) is a plus.
-
Proficiency with Figma, and knowledge of Adobe XD for interpreting design specs.
-
Previous experience working in a performance marketing, creative agency, or e-commerce brand setting.
Benefits & conditions
- Competitive salary and growth opportunities.
- Work across both agency and venture businesses with diverse challenges.
