Job description

For one of our market leading clients in Utrecht, I'm recruiting for Senior DevOps Engineer for Control Automation., As a Senior DevOps Engineer for Control Automation, you are the technical backbone for strengthening IGA (Identity Governance & Administration) services. This is not a greenfield role; you will focus on remediating existing One Identity services, driving technical improvements, and automating control activities to move the squad from reactive support to predictable, compliant, and scalable delivery. You bridge the gap between technical IAM engineering and the rigorous demands of risk, compliance, and audit readiness., * Service Remediation: Analyze and remediate current One Identity configurations to improve control effectiveness, system stability, and audit readiness.

  • Control Automation: Drive the automation of manual service and control-related tasks to improve consistency, efficiency, and-most importantly-traceability.
  • Engineering Maturity: Implement sustainable engineering patterns within the One Identity landscape. Improve the quality of evidencing, monitoring, and technical substantiation.
  • Backlog Translation: Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Risk/Compliance teams to translate audit findings and operational risks into actionable, sustainable technical solutions.
  • Data Integrity: Independently analyze, validate, and improve complex SQL-based datasets and queries within the One Identity landscape to ensure control-relevant data is accurate.

Requirements

  • IAM Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience with One Identity Manager and IGA patterns (Provisioning, RBAC/ABAC/PBAC, Recertification, SoD).
  • Technical Depth: Proficient in SQL Server, APIs/web services, data mapping, and scripting/automation tooling.
  • Experience: Proven track record in a senior engineering role within complex, highly regulated environments. Demonstrated ability to fix "broken" or legacy services, not just build new ones.
  • Compliance Mindset: Strong understanding of control design, audit evidence, and the importance of operational transparency.
  • Problem-Solving: Exceptional ability to identify root causes behind recurring technical or control deficiencies and design long-term solutions.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication and collaborative skills; able to influence stakeholders across Risk, Compliance, Architecture, and Engineering.
