As an iOS Engineer, you'll build and maintain features that help people grow their wealth with confidence. You'll collaborate closely with Product, Design, Backend, and QA to deliver seamless user experiences, improve app performance and reliability, and shape the future of our products. You'll play a key role in building a scalable, maintainable codebase while following engineering best practices and delivering features that delight our users.

Since the launch of our app in November 2017 we have grown to one of the largest investment platforms in The Netherlands and Germany and serve more than 100.000 customers.

We serve these customers with a team of 40 very ambitious talents. To help Peaks fulfil its mission and growth ambitions, we are looking for an iOS developer.

You will play a key role in shaping and evolving the Peaks iOS app, delivering features that help our users build healthy financial habits. You'll work across the full development lifecycle, from ideation and implementation to testing, release, and monitoring. Together with Product, Design, Backend, and QA, you'll build a fast, reliable, and delightful mobile experience while continuously improving our engineering practices and architecture.

• Feature Development: Design, build, and maintain new iOS features using Swift and modern frameworks, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• App Performance & Reliability: Monitor, profile, and optimize app performance, responsiveness, and stability to deliver a best-in-class mobile experience.
• Architecture & Code Quality: Contribute to a scalable, maintainable codebase by applying software engineering best practices, writing clean code, and participating in code reviews.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Design, Backend, and QA to translate ideas into polished features and ensure smooth end-to-end delivery.
• Testing & Release: Write automated tests, support CI/CD processes, and help deliver reliable app releases through the App Store.
• User Experience: Continuously improve usability, accessibility, and overall app quality by incorporating user feedback and product insights.
• Technical Innovation: Stay up to date with the latest iOS technologies and contribute ideas that improve our app, developer experience, and engineering processes.

• Professional iOS development experience, with a strong product and engineering mindset.
• Strong proficiency in Swift and experience building production apps with both UIKit and SwiftUI.
• Solid understanding of iOS architecture, design patterns, and software engineering best practices, with a focus on writing clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
• Experience building, testing, debugging, and maintaining iOS applications throughout the full development lifecycle.
• Experience with app performance optimisation, monitoring, and improving stability and reliability.
• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and App Store release processes.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Product, Design, Backend, and QA.
• Experience with our broader tech stack is a bonus: backend APIs, analytics tools, and cloud-based services.
• Live in the Netherlands (Peaks is located in the heart of Amsterdam).
