Digital Solution Engineer

In this role you are responsible for the technical project execution of digital solution projects. Together with the project manager and the engineering team, you will ensure that changes in the scope of delivery are identified and properly addressed to the customer. You will be part of a team of engineers to realize timely delivery. Your duties will also include technical evaluation of specifications from customers. You will work with the team to create digital solution strategies and assist customers in implementing the solution into their systems. This position is diverse, varied and involves all aspects of application engineering and systems engineering.

Your field of work * You are our expert for the digital portfolio of Schneider Electric, AVEVA and third party solutions. * You will work with our Advisor Software Solutions, Digital Security Systems and new Control Technology Products.

You prepare the system specification, design and implementation of these systems. * You are responsible for the validation of system designs, system architecture and planned structure of the application software. The review of specifications for hardware components and field connection components are also part of your tasks. * Thanks to your know-how and technical understanding, you define the right Schneider Electric and external components for the customer's requirements. * Based on the customer's requirements, your experience and team collaboration, you will create the technical flowchart for the customer project. * With your knowledge and our digital solutions, you develop tools for system security and process optimization for our customers.

In addition to creating digital solutions and documentation, you will also be responsible for on-site engineering activities and support start-up and commissioning activities. * Last but not least - you take care of the preparation and execution of sales presentations or product demonstrations at the customer.

You have completed a technical degree in the field of information technology, computer engineering or have a comparable education. * You have several years of professional experience in a relevant field or comparable position * You bring basic knowledge in the field of digitization, control technology and networks. * You are already familiar with IT systems and their security.

You have expertise and knowledge in the use of tools, systems and procedures. You can also handle Windows operating systems with confidence. * You are a digital citizen with an affinity for technology and can handle and work with database systems and complex infrastructures.
