We're looking for an experienced Senior Digital Delivery Manager to join our UK & Europe Digital Services team. This is a senior leadership role that combines 80% delivery leadership with 20% people leadership, managing and developing a team of Digital Delivery Managers while remaining accountable for the successful delivery of complex digital programmes.
Reporting to the Portfolio & Delivery Director, you'll lead the delivery of enterprise-scale initiatives across multiple products, platforms and suppliers. Working closely with senior business and technology stakeholders, including Executive and C-suite leaders, you'll translate strategic priorities into successful delivery outcomes, ensuring solutions are delivered on time, within budget and achieve measurable business value., As the Senior Digital Delivery Manager, you'll have end-to-end accountability for the successful delivery of a portfolio of digital initiatives. You'll lead multidisciplinary, matrixed teams and coordinate internal specialists alongside external delivery partners to deliver integrated, high-quality solutions., * Leading the end-to-end delivery of complex digital programmes across multiple systems, platforms and suppliers.
- Owning delivery outcomes, ensuring programmes achieve agreed scope, quality, cost, timelines and business benefits.
- Managing demand, prioritisation and delivery roadmaps, balancing strategic initiatives, business-as-usual activity, technical debt and platform enhancements.
- Coordinating delivery across architecture, engineering, product, change, data, cyber security and third-party partners to ensure seamless, integrated solutions.
- Leading delivery planning, governance, forecasting and reporting while proactively managing risks, issues, dependencies and delivery trade-offs.
- Partnering with Product Managers, Product Owners and senior business leaders to align delivery with strategic priorities and organisational objectives.
- Driving successful releases, business readiness, adoption and benefits realisation.
- Coaching, developing and line managing a team of seven Digital Delivery Managers, building capability, consistency and high performance across the delivery function.
- Acting as a trusted delivery leader who influences stakeholders across business and technology to achieve successful outcomes.
Requirements
You'll be an experienced Senior Digital Delivery Leader who thrives in complex environments and enjoys bringing together people, technology and business priorities to deliver meaningful change., * Significant experience leading complex digital delivery across project, product and technical environments in a complex and large organisation.
- A proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale programmes involving multiple platforms, integrated technologies and third-party suppliers.
- Experience managing portfolio demand, prioritisation and delivery roadmaps across competing business priorities.
- Strong knowledge of modern digital delivery practices, software development lifecycles and systems integration.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary matrix teams and influencing without direct authority.
- Previous people management experience, with a passion for coaching and developing delivery professionals.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to engage and influence senior leaders and executive stakeholders.
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to make informed prioritisation and delivery trade-off decisions.
- A collaborative, pragmatic and outcome-focused approach, with resilience, accountability and a passion for delivering exceptional results.
- Professional certifications such as Agile, SAFe, PRINCE2 or PMP, together with experience in large-scale consultancy, enterprise or regulated environments, would be advantageous.
