Job description
- Lead the Business Banking data consumption workstream within the wider EDP transformation programme.
- Own technical solution design and delivery across a modern data platform environment.
- Work closely with business and technology stakeholders to define requirements and perform gap analysis.
- Translate business requirements into technical design and build specifications.
- Drive alignment with Data Management Controls and enterprise data standards.
- Manage complex dependencies across multiple workstreams, teams, and stakeholders.
- Provide leadership across mixed onshore and offshore delivery teams.
- Present progress, risks, and decisions to Steering Committees, governance forums, and senior stakeholders.
- Support AI-led development approaches and modern engineering practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering Medallion Architecture solutions on modern data platforms.
- Strong track record leading large-scale data platform migration / modernisation programmes.
- Experience applying Data Management Control standards into solution design and engineering specifications.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex dependencies across enterprise programmes.
- Strong stakeholder management and governance experience.
About the company
FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Tech Lead - Enterprise Data Platform to work for our client within the finance sector. This is initially a 12 month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role that will be based in Manchester (Radbroke) 2 days a week.
Our client is supporting the mobilisation of a major Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) programme within a leading UK Banking organisation.
The wider initiative consists of two significant workstreams:
* Data Hydration onto the new Enterprise Data Platform (EDP)
* Business Banking consumption of data from the EDP
