Job description

You'll play a key role in designing, developing and maintaining robust data solutions, improving data quality and enabling business-wide reporting and analytics. Working closely with Data Analysts, BI Developers and wider stakeholders, you'll help deliver reliable, scalable data solutions that support key business decisions., * Design, build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines

  • Develop and optimise cloud-based data solutions
  • Build and maintain Azure Data Factory pipelines
  • Work with Azure SQL, Synapse Analytics and Microsoft Fabric
  • Improve data quality, governance and documentation processes
  • Optimise SQL queries and database performance
  • Develop data models to support analytics and reporting requirements
  • Collaborate with BI Developers, Data Analysts and business stakeholders
  • Support data platform migrations from legacy environments into Azure
  • Contribute to best practices around data engineering, automation and deployment, * Microsoft Fabric

Requirements

  • Strong commercial experience as a Data Engineer
  • Advanced SQL development skills
  • Commercial Python experience
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF)
  • Experience working with Microsoft Azure data services
  • Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes
  • Experience designing and maintaining data pipelines
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data modelling
  • Experience using Git/version control
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
