Data Capture Administrator

Location: Telford Job Type: Temporary Pay Rate: Competitive hourly rate Working Pattern: Full-time, Monday to Friday (Hybrid working available) Start Date: ASAP

Your new role

As a Data Capture Administrator, you will be responsible for accurately processing and capturing information from various financial forms, including CGT, IHT and ISA/JISA documentation. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality, accuracy and integrity of data while supporting operational reporting and client service delivery.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Accurately capturing and validating data from client forms and documentation.
  • Interpreting complex or non-standard information and resolving discrepancies.
  • Maintaining trackers, control sheets and audit records to monitor progress and productivity.
  • Conducting quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance.
  • Supporting monthly reporting by tracking processing volumes and performance metrics.
  • Identifying, documenting and escalating data errors or anomalies where appropriate.
  • Using Excel and internal systems to manage workload and maintain accurate records.
  • Participating in team meetings and providing updates on progress, performance and improvement opportunities.
  • Working both independently and collaboratively to achieve team objectives and service levels.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous administration, data entry, data processing or financial services experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical accuracy.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • The ability to identify trends, discrepancies and errors within large data sets.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Comfortable working independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment.
  • Adaptable, proactive and quick to learn new systems and processes.
