Job description

  • Respond to and resolve service desk tickets promptly, ensuring high-quality support and thorough documentation of all incidents and resolutions.
  • Manage inventory of PCs, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals, including provisioning equipment for new hires, collecting and refurbishing returned assets (cleaning, testing, and data wiping), and performing upgrades or replacements as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues by identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
  • Provide end-user and application support, including installing, configuring, upgrading, and maintaining software and hardware for both on-site and remote users.
  • Apply system patches and implement corrective actions to mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities in alignment with IT best practices.
  • Create, update, and maintain clear and accurate technical documentation across systems, processes, and procedures.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of relevant hands-on experience in IT or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field - or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization, along with a self-driven, proactive approach.
  • Familiarity with ITIL Foundations or similar IT service management frameworks.
  • Background in construction or manufacturing environments is preferred.
