Job description

The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will play a critical role in delivering high-value reporting solutions, supporting self-service BI, and ensuring data accuracy and alignment across the organization. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and strong communication skills to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. The Analyst will also be responsible for managing BI projects end-to-end, leading intake, requirements gathering, and solution delivery, while serving as the primary point of contact between the BI team and the business., * Manage BI projects from intake through delivery, acting as the primary liaison with business stakeholders.

  • Lead the scoping, requirements documentation, prioritization, and timeline planning for assigned projects.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand needs, define use cases, and ensure solutions deliver measurable value.
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics, primarily in Tableau, to support business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to validate data models, ensure accurate data sources, and resolve data-related issues.
  • Provide training, support, and mentorship to self-service users to improve BI adoption and effective tool usage.
  • Apply best practices for dashboard design, performance optimization, and data storytelling.
  • Work in an Agile/SCRUM environment, contributing to sprint planning, retrospectives, and process improvements.
  • Validate and reconcile data from multiple systems (SAP/ECC, SAP BI, Snowflake) to ensure reporting accuracy.
  • Deliver ad hoc analysis and insights to leadership as needed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or a related field.
  • Advanced expertise (5+ years) in Tableau (dashboard development, data visualization best practices, performance tuning).
  • Strong understanding of SAP data (sales, manufacturing, finance) and ERP-based datasets.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience working with data warehouses (Snowflake preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Experience mentoring other analysts or supporting a self-service BI community.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
