DataPath, Inc. is seeking a Journeyman Network & Computer Systems Administrator to design, implement, document, and maintain IP networks supporting DoD operations at an OCONUS location in Amman, Jordan.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Network Administration & Operations
Design, implement, document, and maintain IP networks in complex DoD environments. Configure and troubleshoot network infrastructure at the CCNA level: VLANs, routing basics, VPNs, firewall rules, and ACLs across switches, routers, and firewalls. Sustain reach-back connectivity and network communications supporting operational missions. Maintenance & Support
Perform routine maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of network and systems infrastructure. Work incident and service queues, resolving issues within established SLAs. Support OCONUS surge and rapid-response requirements as operational demands shift. Documentation
Document configurations and maintain accurate network and system records.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related field; equivalent demonstrated experience accepted in lieu of a degree. Minimum 3 years designing, implementing, documenting, and maintaining IP networks in complex DoD environments. Hands-on network skills at the CCNA level or better across switches, routers, and firewalls, including VLANs, routing basics, VPNs, firewall rules, ACLs, and troubleshooting. Required certification - DoD 8570 IAT Level II baseline. Must hold one of: CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, or CND. Required certification - Cisco CCNA. Ability to meet OCONUS deployment readiness requirements, including a valid passport and medical/dental readiness.
