Job description
We are looking for an experienced Engineer, disciplined in Software Engineering to join our TCMA team in Huntsville, Alabama. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing Agile software engineering processes and activities.
Role is preferred to be onsite in Huntsville, AL but open to onsite in Cedar Rapids, IA as well.
What You Will Do:
- Design, implement, and evaluate software in C++ and Python within the Agile framework.
- Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with other engineers in the planning, design, and development of military technology.
- Work closely with cross-functional research teams to evaluate the effectiveness of early software prototypes.
- Independently perform multiple tasks given support from a mentor.
- Implement requirements, detailed design, implementing software, integration, and verification in accordance with software development processes.
- Accomplish tasks based on program schedule, collaborate with teammates to make the best decisions
- Enjoy learning new technologies, be self-motivated and contribute to a positive work environment.
- 5% travel as needed.
Requirements
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance, * Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
- Experience in software architecture, design and development using languages such as C, C++, Java, Ada and Python.
- Experience in an Agile.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
