Job description
Insight Global is seeking an SAP EWM Consultant for a permanent opportunity supporting enterprise warehouse operations and supply chain initiatives. This individual will serve as the techno-functional subject matter expert for SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), partnering with business stakeholders and technical teams to design, implement, and optimize warehouse management solutions within a large-scale SAP environment.
This role will be responsible for configuring SAP EWM, improving warehouse processes, supporting system implementations, designing custom RICEF solutions, and driving best practices across warehouse planning, inbound and outbound logistics, inventory management, and internal warehouse movements. The SAP EWM Consultant will work closely with business leaders to understand operational requirements, recommend system improvements, deliver training, and ensure SAP capabilities are aligned with business objectives.
Requirements
This is a highly visible SME-level position requiring deep expertise in SAP EWM, warehouse operations, and SAP supply chain processes. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting full lifecycle SAP implementations, troubleshooting complex issues, and leading large-scale warehouse transformation initiatives. PR $160,000-$165,000 annually., 10+ years of direct experience working with SAP modules.
- 1-2+ full lifecycle SAP Logistics / Warehouse Management implementations, preferably in an SAP S/4HANA environment.
- Extensive hands-on experience configuring and customizing SAP EWM.
- Strong understanding of warehouse planning, inbound processing, outbound processing, internal movements, and physical inventory management.
- Deep expertise in RF Transactions, Handling Unit (HU) Management, Labor Management, and Yard Management.
- Experience designing custom RICEF solutions and creating functional specifications.
- Experience testing, troubleshooting, and supporting SAP warehouse management solutions.
- Strong knowledge of SAP ERP integration and warehouse process optimization.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage business and technical stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work independently and manage complex projects with minimal oversight.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- SAP ABAP and/or Java/Web Application development experience.
- Experience with PreBilt for EWM mobile solutions.
- Knowledge of Production Staging integration with MES and SAP ERP.
- Experience developing and delivering end-user training materials.
- Experience supporting manufacturing, distribution, or large-scale warehouse operations. (Suggested based on warehouse focus of the role.)
- Experience acting as a functional SME during enterprise-wide SAP transformation initiatives.
- Strong presentation and stakeholder management experience.
- Experience mentoring junior team members and supporting large-scale implementations.
