Job description

  • Develop and document requirements and interfaces, design analysis, modeling and simulation, system integration and trade studies
  • Coordinate with a cross-discipline team to meet customer/mission planning requirements
  • Supports Statement of Work (SOW) compliance by developing, documenting, and executing system verification activities
  • Integrate software and hardware subsystems
  • Follow a structured data driven approach to solve problems
  • Contribute to the completion of project/program milestones
  • Adheres to established systems engineering processes and procedures to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance across all project activities
  • Provide input and guidance to lower-level engineers with tasks and assignments
  • Analyze data, communicate results, and manage tasks and/or projects.

Requirements

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance, * Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of eight (8) or more years of relevant experience in software requirements, design, development, integration, and test.

  • Experience with the full systems engineering lifecycle (V-model), including writing and executing system qualification tests.
  • Knowledge of the software lifecycle, including requirements, design, implementation, integration, test, and configuration management.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Familiarity with V-22 platform
  • Working knowledge of CAMEO, SYSML and DOORs
  • Model Base Systems engineering (MBSE)
  • Agile development environment using Azure DevOps or equivalent

Benefits & conditions

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
