Job description

  • Provide technical analyses and define system behavior using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies
  • Decompose system requirements, define system interfaces, and determine how requirements will be validated and verified by the integration and test team
  • Develop capability and feature designs that support Agile software engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle
  • Support execution of the program's Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) activities, including test process development, baseline definition, test architecture, verification, and validation
  • Support regression testing across deliverable releases to the program baseline
  • Participate in technical reviews, design reviews, and technical interchange meetings with internal teams and customers
  • Collaborate with systems, software, integration, and test engineers to deliver mission-critical satellite ground system capabilities

Requirements

Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance, * Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience

  • Experience across the systems engineering lifecycle, including one or more of the following: Concept of Operations (ConOps) development, requirements definition and management, functional analysis, interface definition and control, and verification and validation
  • Experience supporting systems engineering or integration and test activities on a government contract
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams in support of complex system development and integration
  • Active and transferable DoD TS/SCI U.S. government-issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain Special Program Access. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience working in an Agile development environment using tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket
  • Experience supporting mission management or satellite ground systems
  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler
  • Experience with requirements management using DOORS or similar requirements databases
  • Experience providing Technical Subcontract Management support, Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Benefits & conditions

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
