Soldering Visionary Operations Innovation Low Voltage High Voltage Wire Harnesses Electromechanics Electrical Wiring Schematic Reading Power Electronics White-Box Testing Inventory Management Engineering Drawings Laboratory Equipment Equipment Maintenance PCB Assembly Services Equipment Calibration Shipping And Receiving Artificial Intelligence Engineering Design Process, Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Inverter Test Technologist to support the development of current and next-generation electrified vehicle traction inverters at the EPIC Power Electronics Laboratory in Allen Park, MI. In this dynamic hands-on role, you will act as a key electromechanical builder-fabricating custom structural test stands and constructing complex physical test setups from engineering drawings and schematics. Responsibilities
- Inspect critical inverter components, including capacitors, power modules, and busbars.
- Assemble prototype test samples and instrument them with diagnostic sensors.
- Build custom low-voltage and high-voltage wiring harnesses.
- Configure and operate advanced laboratory equipment, including high-voltage testers, thermal chambers, and power cyclers.
- Troubleshoot experimental setups, perform routine equipment maintenance, and execute safe systematic teardowns.

Requirements
- Proficiency in wiring harness build, test setup, and fabrication.
- Ability to read schematics and execute test setup repair and teardown.
- Experience in diagnostics, mechanical fabrication, and electronics.
- 3+ years of experience fabricating test fixtures and vehicle wire harness build.
- High school diploma or GED.

This is a Contract position based out of Allen Park, MI. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.63 - $39.19/hr.
