Job description

job summary: We are seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer III to join our engineering organization on a contract basis. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, building, and maintaining robust infrastructure for our large-scale distributed applications. This is an exciting opportunity for a software-focused engineer to tackle complex system reliability, scalability, and performance challenges.

responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and optimize high-scale distributed systems to achieve maximum availability and low latency.
  • Write clean, functional automation scripts and code to streamline system recovery and routine infrastructure processes.
  • Debug, optimize, and profile production software code to eliminate systemic bottlenecks.
  • Analyze system behaviors and troubleshoot operational incidents with a systematic, data-driven approach.

qualifications: BS degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical field.

6-8 years of practical, professional engineering or systems reliability experience.

Excellent programming proficiency in one or more languages (e.g., Python, Go, Java, C++, Perl, or Ruby).

Solid grasp of fundamental algorithms, data structures, complexity analysis, and modern software design.
