This Position is in the Lockheed Martin Enterprise Operations (EO) organization supporting the Aeronautics Business Unit. Candidate will be part of a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team that builds a secure, scalableIntelligent Factory framework for Aeronautics.We automate the flow of machine data into a unified lake, creating a digital thread that connects hardware and software across the enterprise.

Scaling adoption of this framework empowers cross-functional teams to work with robust cyber-security, standardized metrics, and a culture of continuous OT/IT training and awareness.By delivering real-time production insights, we enable better business decisions, drive consistent ROI, and keep critical assets available and performant.

As part of this role, candidate will:

  • Lead floor support as primary technical liaison for Fort Worth connected factory and IFF related issues.

  • Administering applications, and setting up networked file transfer capabilities.

  • Contribute to execution of asset connections to Intelligent Factory Framework.

  • Organizing the deployment of network infrastructure.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional team to ensure alignment with Integrated Master Schedule.

  • Identify and eliminate obstacles that hinder the team's progress, ensuring a smooth workflow.

  • Monitor team performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and facilitate discussions around team dynamics.

  • Apply systems thinking to identify risks early and mitigate as appropriate.

  • Maintain good communication with partners and stakeholders to maintain awareness.

  • Establish strong shop floor presence through hands-on involvement to improve performance.

In light of current internal business pressures, priority consideration will be given to qualified candidates who are currently affiliated with the Enterprise Operations' EBDT (Enterprise Business & Digital Transformation) organization.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience troubleshooting complex technical issues.

  • Ability to learn technical skills quickly in a collaborative team environment.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Track record of being a self-starter and strong independent contributor.

  • Ability to manage priorities and requirements, and establish strong team relationships to deliver exceptional customer service. Desired Skills:

  • Background with software engineering, network engineering, mechanical engineering, systems engineering, desktop support, or system administrator.

  • Experience providing Information Technology or Operational Technology support.

  • Network connectivity verification trouble shooting.

  • Experience working in an Agile development environment, using tools such as JIRA and Confluence.

  • Familiarity developing with scripting and/or programming languages such as Python, C#, Java, Bash or equivalents.

  • Demonstrated experience deploying enterprise applications.

  • Familiarity with current networking, cyber security, software development, and/or hardware integration practices.

  • Experience with PC hardware troubleshooting, hard drive imaging, software installation, license configuration, or Windows OS administration., Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
