Insight Global is seeking an SAP Functional Specialist - Manufacturing Information Technology for a full-time, on-site opportunity in Waller, TX. This individual will support a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation and play a key role in planning, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support for the platform transition.
This role will serve as a functional SME across SAP S/4HANA, partnering closely with internal business teams and external SAP consultants to ensure the system is aligned with manufacturing, inventory, finance, logistics, and broader business operations. The Specialist will help drive SAP adoption through process optimization, stakeholder support, training materials, user documentation, and continuous improvement after implementation.
This is a highly visible role that requires strong SAP functional knowledge, leadership, and the ability to support complex enterprise transformation initiatives with limited oversight. PR $160,000-$165,000 annually.
Requirements
5+ years of SAP functional experience with a strong focus in Manufacturing, specifically PP/MM or similar modules
- 10+ years of direct experience working with SAP modules
- Strong experience supporting SAP S/4HANA implementations, including design, configuration, customization, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support
- Extensive knowledge of SAP S/4HANA SD functionality, features, and capabilities
- Strong understanding of manufacturing ERP processes, especially within SAP PP/MM environments
- Experience partnering with internal stakeholders across inventory, finance, logistics, and other business operations
- Experience supporting data integrity and migration from legacy systems into SAP S/4HANA
- Strong leadership experience supporting large-scale technology transformation projects
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience creating end-user training programs, user manuals, training materials, or reference guides
- Experience working with SAP consultants, vendors, or technology implementation partners
- Experience supporting end-to-end business transformation initiatives toward SAP S/4 standard processes
- Experience identifying process improvement opportunities in manufacturing ERP environments
- Experience coaching, reviewing, or delegating work to lower-level professionals
- Strong documentation, training, and adoption support experience
