Job description
- Design, configure, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network and computer systems.
- Support WAN, BAN, LAN, and wireless (Wi-Fi) infrastructure.
- Administer routers, switches, firewalls, and related network devices.
- Monitor network performance, resolve connectivity issues, and implement security controls.
- Perform system hardening, STIG compliance, vulnerability remediation, patching, firmware updates, and infrastructure upgrades.
- Maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and configuration baselines.
- Support cybersecurity compliance requirements and coordinate with engineers, cybersecurity personnel, and customers.
- Other duties as assigned or required.
Requirements
- Experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure, computer systems administration, routing/switching, network security, and infrastructure sustainment activities.
- Experience supporting WAN, BAN, and LAN environments.
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting enterprise network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless technologies.
- Experience with system hardening, STIG implementation, vulnerability remediation, patching, and cybersecurity compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Desired:
- CCNA certification or equivalent experience demonstrating expertise in routing, switching, and network security.
- Experience supporting DoD or Federal Government networks.
- Experience with DISA cybersecurity controls, vulnerability management, and compliance activities.
- Experience supporting Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, Palo Alto, or similar enterprise networking technologies.
Education/Years of Experience:
3-10 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, OR 7+ years of experience with an Associate's degree required.
