Job description
You will be part of a multicultural and multidisciplinary team composed of 35 people who leverage value-based design-thinking to explore emerging technologies and deliver market-validated innovations. Organized into agile Innovation Squads, you will collaborate closely with a Value Architect and a Strategic Designer to turn internal concepts into technical realities by validating technical, operational, economic, and legal feasibility., * Drive AI-Native Transition: Spearhead the shift from "Adopting AI" to "Being AI-Native" in the U.S. region by benchmarking maturity models and establishing compliant, local agentic workflows.
- Tech Scouting & Innovation: Identify emerging U.S.-based technologies in agentic AI for spares, maintenance planning, pilot training, and smart catering to keep Airbus at the cutting edge.
- Ensure Multi-Dimensional Feasibility: Own the operational, technical, schedule, economic, legal, and sustainability feasibility of future technical solutions, creating formal Architecture Dossiers.
- Governance & IP Safety: Consolidate fragmented regional digital needs across heterogeneous business lines while enforcing strict data guardrails (GDPR, Export Control) and protecting intellectual property.
- Rapid Prototyping: Develop functional technical prototypes to de-risk technology bricks, capturing validated learning to contribute to roadmaps and business cases.
Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a relevant technical field (Master's degree preferred).

AI Expertise: Deep theoretical and practical knowledge in Artificial Intelligence, with a direct focus on Generative AI (GenAI), Agentic AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Prompt Engineering.

Technical Systems Proficiency: Hands-on technical skills building and deploying within cloud infrastructure frameworks such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Prototyping & Strategy: Proven capability in rapid technical prototyping of GenAI solutions balanced with a strong strategic mindset to build sound business structures.

Data Privacy & Governance: Demonstrated understanding of data sensitivity frameworks, including global compliance standards (GDPR), Export Controls, and corporate IP protection.

Communication Mindset: Negotiation-level fluency in English with the ability to build enterprise literacy, demystify AI concepts, and advocate for data transparency., * Standard office and technology lab environment setup.

Ability to collaborate flexibly across international time zones (U.S. and Europe).

Mobility to engage with local business lines and tech hubs as required by innovation sprints.

75% to 80%on site. 3-4 days a week in the office.
