Job description

The Infrastructure Design team is seeking technical data analyst to own dashboard development and data maintenance across our engineering and design management operations, with a clear path to grow into automation and cross-tool integration work. This role starts hands-on with reporting and data hygiene and is designed to expand in scope as skills develop.

Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and refine dashboards in Power BI to track KPIs across engineering and operations
  • Maintain data accuracy and consistency across source systems (MS Planner/Projects, SharePoint, and related tools)
  • Write scripts (Python preferred) to automate routine data pulls, cleanup, and reporting tasks
  • Use AI-assisted coding tools (Cursor, Copilot, or similar) to accelerate development - comfort with these tools is expected, not optional
  • Troubleshoot data discrepancies and flag inconsistencies between systems
  • Work independently, apply first principles of thinking to resolve design issues creatively and thoroughly coordinating with engineering counterparts
  • Designing and building automations that connect multiple tools (Planner, ACONEX, and related workflows) rather than working within one system at a time
  • Identifying and closing efficiency gaps between disparate software systems
  • Supporting SharePoint site structure and document management, including automations that organize folders based on document type or metadata tags (e.g., auto-routing files on upload using Power Automate)
  • Contributing to a more centralized data structure (e.g., a shared database or Dataverse) so dashboards pull from one consistent source instead of multiple live connections

Pay Range for this role is $45 - $60 depending on years of experience and education.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, data analytics, or similar
  • 0-3 years of experience in a data analyst, BI, or related technical role.
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of Python for scripting and automation
  • Comfort using AI coding assistants (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar) as part of daily workflow

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with imperfect, multi-source data
  • Exposure to API integrations (Microsoft Graph API or similar)
  • Familiarity with Power Automate or other low-code automation tools
  • Experience with SharePoint site structure, document libraries, and metadata/tag-based automation
  • Experience with Microsoft Planner, Procore, or similar project/engineering management platforms
  • Basic understanding of data modeling or data warehousing concepts

Benefits & conditions

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
