Job description

Join a leading enterprise organization as they modernize and migrate their SAS analytics platform from an on-premises environment to AWS. This is a hands-on infrastructure consulting opportunity focused on SAS 9.4 administration, platform migration, and cloud deployment. We're looking for an experienced SAS platform consultant who has successfully installed, configured, upgraded, and migrated SAS 9.4 environments in enterprise settings., This is more than a traditional SAS developer or analyst role-it's an opportunity to lead a high-impact cloud migration initiative from the ground up. You'll play a critical role in designing and implementing a new AWS-hosted SAS environment, collaborating with technical and business stakeholders throughout the migration lifecycle. Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on SAS 9.4 platform administration experience \n

  • Experience installing, configuring, upgrading, and supporting SAS 9.4 environments (9.4M8 ) \n

  • Proven experience performing SAS platform migrations in enterprise environments \n

  • Experience migrating SAS Metadata, libraries, users, datasets, projects, and applications \n

  • Strong knowledge of SAS Metadata Server, Enterprise Guide, SAS/Access, and platform configuration \n

  • Experience applying SAS hot fixes, patches, and performing post-installation validation \n

  • Experience migrating enterprise applications from on-premises infrastructure to AWS \n

  • Strong AWS infrastructure experience, including EC2, storage, networking, and server provisioning \n

  • Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration experience \n

  • Experience managing file systems, permissions, batch scheduling, and server migrations \n

  • Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure, operating systems, and SAS platform components \n

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills \n

Desired Skills & Experience \n \n

  • SAS 9.4M8 migration experience \n

  • Experience consolidating multi-tier SAS environments into AWS \n

  • Knowledge of migration planning and implementation methodologies \n

  • Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) \n

  • Technical leadership or consulting experience \n

  • Experience creating infrastructure and migration documentation, including Pre-Installation Requirements Documents (PIRD) \n

  • Knowledge transfer and post-implementation support experience \n
