Job description

  • Engineer, refine, and maintain high-speed Python backends and Django REST APIs driving our automated internal platforms
  • Architect efficient data-processing workflows to parse, transform, and structure complex JSON payloads with maximum reliability
  • Maintain and scale multi-database environments through continuous schema migrations and query optimization across PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and MongoDB
  • Partner seamlessly with frontend developers to deliver high-performing user interfaces and ensure end-to-end system stability
  • Engage in collaborative code reviews to uphold modularity, security, and top-tier code hygiene
  • Streamline platform performance by refining database queries, integrating security best practices, and automating workflows
  • Produce crisp technical documentation and system maps to keep our growing cloud architecture transparent and scalable

Requirements

  • Enrolled student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Initial practical experience (ideally 6 to 18 months) in software engineering with Python and frameworks such as Django
  • Solid understanding of database design, query optimization, and data handling in PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MongoDB
  • Familiarity with Git workflows and a strong interest in containerization and deployment using Docker
  • Strong analytical mindset with a passion for solving logical challenges and writing clean code
  • Excellent communication skills in English (German language skills are a welcome bonus but not required)
