At Roche, we offer a hybrid work model that combines flexibility with in-person collaboration. For now, we require our employees to be in our offices on average two days per week. The specific office days may vary depending on business needs, such as workshops, conferences, town halls, team meetings, and other collaborative events.
This role is based in the ERP Solutions division, dedicated to driving the technological roadmap and seamless evolution of Roche's enterprise landscape. You will lead the design and implementation of standards-based, future-ready EAM data solutions within a complex, multi-product context. Joining this strategic team offers an outstanding opportunity to solve complex architectural challenges and shape global template standards in healthcare diagnostics and manufacturing.
The opportunity:
- Architectural Design & Strategy: Lead the architectural design of robust ERP solutions (SAP S/4HANA & MDG) while developing and maintaining the EAM product technology roadmap.
- Global Template Governance: Serve as the IT Expert for the SAP S/4HANA & MDG - EAM Data Global Template, driving conceptual/logical data modeling, taxonomies, and integration pathways.
- Agile Release Train (ART) Leadership: Plan and support architecture enablers, define subsystem interfaces, and partner with the Troika to maintain Built-In Quality and the Continuous Delivery Pipeline.
- Execution & Delivery: Support hands-on requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, system configuration, and task distribution across functional IT teams (Build and Test factories).
- Stakeholder Engagement & Mentorship: Communicate complex architectural concepts to diverse business audiences, manage Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs), and mentor peers within the enterprise architecture community.
Requirements
- Education & Experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering, with 8+ years of dedicated experience in SAP Enterprise Asset Master Data and at least 2 end-to-end global implementations involving SAP S/4HANA EAM and SAP MDG (Required).
- Deep Technical Expertise: Expert-level skill in SAP MDG-EAM modules (Consolidation, Mass Processing, DQM, MDQ) and cross-module integration with HR, MM, FI/CO, and PS (Required).
- Enterprise Architecture & Governance: Proven track record of designing solutions in complex ERP environments, establishing reference architectures, managing NFRs, and documenting ADRs (Required).
- Leadership & Soft Skills: Collaborative mindset with exceptional communication and negotiation skills in fluent English, comfortable leading cross-functional teams in agile environments (SAFe/Agile/SAP Activate) (Required).
- Certifications & Platform Breadth: SAP Certifications and foundational understanding of SAP BTP or modern enterprise middleware (Preferred).
