Job title: DevOps Engineer** Location: Hybrid (Barcelona) Salary: Around €45,**,000 per year Overview: Our client is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our DataHub team.This team is responsible for managing the in-house infrastructure that handles data streams, governs streamed events, and manages data pipelines.The ideal candidate will bring expertise in AWS services, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), system security, and cloud cost optimization.Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, enhance, and deploy Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and CI/CD stacks with GitLab.- Ensure system security and compliance by implementing robust security policies and practices.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Owners and developers, to meet business requirements and build high-quality infrastructure.- Monitor and maintain existing systems to ensure reliability and efficiency.- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure costs using FinOps principles.- Support teams in deploying and enhancing their skills in AWS tools.Required Skills & Experience: - At least 4 years experience with AWS Expertise: Proficient in services such as Kinesis, EC2, IAM, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, ECS, and other key AWS components.- IaC & CI/CD: Strong experience with Terraform and GitLab for deploying and managing infrastructure.- System Security: Solid understanding of security policies and practices in cloud environments.- Containerization: Expertise in Docker and container orchestration.- Source Control: Mastery of Git best practices for source code management and continuous integration.- FinOps: Experience in optimizing cloud infrastructure costs with FinOps strategies.- Monitoring: Familiarity with the Prometheus/Grafana stack (preferred).Preferred Profile: - A quality-conscious and pragmatic approach to coding and infrastructure design.- Proactive mindset with a knack for taking initiatives and proposing improvements.- Ability to assist and guide teams in deploying AWS tools effective
