Veeva Systems is a mission-driven organization and pioneer in industry cloud, helping life sciences companies bring therapies to patients faster.As one of the fastest-growing SaaS companies in history, we surpassed $3B in revenue in our last fiscal year with extensive growth potential ahead.At the heart of Veeva are our values: Do the Right Thing, Customer Success, Employee Success, and Speed.We're not just any public company - we made history in **** by becoming a public benefit corporation (PBC), legally bound to balancing the interests of customers, employees, society, and investors.As a Work Anywhere company, we support your flexibility to work from home or in the office, so you can thrive in your ideal environment.Join us in transforming the life sciences industry, committed to making a positive impact on its customers, employees, and communities.The RoleJoin Veeva as we lead the life sciences industry's fundamental shift from digital documents to process digitalization.As Process Architect, you will be the hands-on architect of this transition, converting legacy, document-centric processes into a modern, data-centric ecosystem within Veeva Validation Management.We are seeking a technical lead to convert legacy documents into normalized, relational data environments.This individual understands the requirements for mapping Commissioning, Qualification, and Validation processes, turning templates and static records into fluid, searchable, and actionable information.In this role, you will act as a digitalization expert, guiding customers from paper-heavy or paper-on-glass solutions to data-centric workflows.You will also be responsible for owning the development and maintenance of specialized tooling and methodologies required to migrate and manage data across Vault environments.This is a work anywhere, full-time permanent role with Veeva.Our work processes are designed so that you can be productive in the environment that works best for you.This is a customer-facing role and we have no work location requirement if you are in close proximity to an airport and able to meet future travel requirements.What You'll DoCollaborate with customers to extract requirements from legacy Word documents and map them into structured Vault environmentsReconcile customer-specific metadata to ensure data alignment and consistency across the entire validation lifecycleExecute bulk data loads and manage staged data for customer workshops and process exercisesPartner with customers as a trusted advisor on best practices for importing and utilizing Validation Management for digitalized workflowsBuild and maintain libraries of digital records and examples to support customer implementations of application templatesDevelop and own the specialized tooling and methodologies required to migrate and manage relevant data across Vault environmentsExecute billable project work across various service tiers ranging from artifact mapping to enterprise-level deploymentsPartner with the strategy, services, and business consulting organizations to ensure an exceptional customer experience that reflects a deep understanding of validation processes across computer systems, equipment, cleaning, etc.Requirements5+ years of experience in life sciences validation with a deep technical understanding of CSV/A and CQV lifecycles for facilities, utilities, and manufacturing equipmentProven experience in a customer-facing consulting or billable professional services role with the ability to lead technical workshops and advise executive stakeholdersExperience mapping complex customer business processes into standardized data languages to move organizations to paperless validation modelsStrong working knowledge of risk-based qualification approaches and industry standards such as ASTM E****, ISPE Baseline Guides, and Annex 15Proficiency in bulk data loading tools and managing data integrity within cloud-based platformsStrong analytical skills for identifying configuration gaps between legacy customer data and system templatesBachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Bioengineering, Electrical, or related technical field)Ability to travel domestically and internationally for key customer engagements and internal meetings up to 30% with typical travel around 15%Nice to HaveActive participation or leadership within ISPE, EMA, or other industry technical committees or networksDirect experience leading large-scale, enterprise digital validation implementations and rolloutsPrevious experience in organizational change management within a manufacturing or quality environmentFamiliarity with data
