Overview Senior Database Administrator | SQL Server Specialist | 100% RemoteWe are looking for a top talent to join a multinational company with a global presence.The organization focuses on digital technology services and large-scale technologic solutions for enterprise customers.This role centers on enterprise-level database solutions across on-premises and cloud environments, with emphasis on performance tuning and high availability.Location: 100% Remote (Spain-based candidates only)Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage high-performance SQL Server databases.Administer Azure SQL Server and Azure Managed Instance, ensuring security and availability.Develop and maintain SSRS reports and SSIS ETL packages.Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, replication failures, and security vulnerabilities.Collaborate with development and operations teams on database optimization and structure.Manage backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability strategies (Always On, clustering, log shipping, replication).Lead database migrations, upgrades, and cloud adoption initiatives.Ensure compliance with database security best practices and industry standards.Understand and implement DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and CI/CD for database deployments.Familiarity with NoSQL databases and hybrid cloud environments.Hands-on experience with Azure SQL Server and Azure Managed Instance.Qualifications & Experience 7+ years in database engineering, administration, and performance tuning.Strong expertise in SQL Server (T-SQL, stored procedures).Proficiency in SSRS and SSIS.Advanced skills in query optimization and execution plan analysis.Experience with high-availability setups: Always On, clustering, replication, log shipping.Solid understanding of database security, auditing, and compliance.Design, implement, and manage Oracle and SQL Server databases.Optimize queries, indexes, and stored procedures for performance and scalability.Experience with cloud-native database solutions and automation.Understanding of NoSQL databases and hybrid cloud environments.Hands-on experience with Azure SQL Server and Azure Managed Instance.Preferred Certifications Oracle Database Administrator Certified ProfessionalOther relevant certifications as applicableWhat can we offer?23 days of Annual Leave plus discretionary days on 24th and 31st of December.Health Care Plan, teleworking compensation, Life and Accident Insurances.Free access to training platforms.Professional stability and career plans.Referral program with benefits for successful referrals.
