Job description
As a Technical Business Analyst - Oracle HCM Cloud (Data Migration & Integration), you will be a key player in a large-scale HR transformation program for a major international financial institution. You will drive the data migration architecture, integration design, and technical delivery of Oracle HCM Cloud, ensuring robust, reliable, and scalable solutions that support critical HR and payroll processes., * Design and own the end-to-end migration architecture: source extraction, transformation rules, target loading strategy.
- Build and maintain Data Mapping Documents (DMD) at a technical level:Field-by-field mapping, transformation logic, null handling, default values.
- Write and execute HDL / HSDL templates; troubleshoot load errors directly in Oracle HCM Cloud (error logs, UCM content server, process monitor).
- Perform data profiling and quality assessment on source systems (SQL queries, reconciliation scripts).
- Drive migration cycles end-to-end: Mock 1, Mock 2, Mock Final, Go-Live - own the anomaly log, root cause analysis, and fix validation.
- Coordinate with DBA and source system owners to extract, cleanse, and stage migration data., * Write detailed technical specifications for inbound/outbound interfaces:Field mapping, transformation rules, error codes, retry logic.
- Design and validate integration flows on Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC):Recipes, connections, orchestration logic, monitoring.
- Work with HCM Extracts and BI Publisher for outbound reporting and payroll interfaces.
- Read, validate, and debug API payloads (REST/SOAP):Request/response structure, authentication, error handling.
- Coordinate with middleware teams, IAM, payroll vendors, and third-party systems on interface delivery.
- Lead SIT campaigns:Write technical test cases, execute tests, log and track defects in JIRA.
- Support UAT from a technical standpoint:Troubleshoot data issues raised by business users., * Maintain integration and migration technical documentation (specs, runbooks, error catalogs).
- Contribute to architecture and design review sessions with the Oracle integrator and client IT teams.
- Report on technical progress, risks, and blockers to the project manager and steering committee.
- Own the Data RAID Log: technical risks, decisions, and open issues.

Requirements
- 4+ years as a Technical BA, integration developer, or data migration engineer on HCM or ERP programs.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle HCM Cloud:HDL / HSDL, HCM Extracts, Fast Formulas, UCM, Process Monitor.
- Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC):Ability to read, validate, and contribute to integration recipes and orchestration flows.
- Strong SQL skills:Data profiling, reconciliation queries, anomaly investigation.
- Solid understanding of data exchange formats:XML, JSON, CSV - comfortable reading and debugging raw payloads.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and SOAP:Request/response cycles, authentication flows (OAuth 2.0, JWT), error handling.
- Experience with SFTP / file-based integrations:Naming conventions, scheduling, error management.
- Familiarity with defect and test management tools:JIRA, Confluence, Zephyr or equivalent.
- Strong analytical mindset, high attention to detail, and ability to work autonomously on technical workstreams.
Plus - Functional HR knowledge (nice to have)
- Familiarity with Core HR processes: workforce structures, position management, employee lifecycle.
- Basic understanding of payroll interfaces and the data expected by payroll systems.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications without heavy functional mediation.
- Experience working alongside HR teams during UAT or data validation workshops.
- Experience in banking, financial services, or large enterprise environments is a strong plus.
- Comfortable working in a multi-vendor context: client IT, Oracle integrator, third-party vendors.
- Fluent English required; Spanish is a strong plus.
- Based in Madrid, available for hybrid work.
