At Boehringer Ingelheim, we are committed to maximizing the value of our data and fostering a truly data driven culture.Our data, analytics, AI & integration platforms are at the heart of this transformation, enabling innovation and excellence across the organization.As a key member of our platform team, you will empower high-performing teams to deliver exceptional solutions that make a real difference for patients and customers worldwide.We are looking for an experienced and data-drivenSenior Program Manager - Platform Deliveryto lead the software delivery operations of our data, analytics, AI & integration platforms teams.In this pivotal role, you will orchestrate cross-team release planning, capacity management, budgeting, and operational excellence.You will champion continuous process improvement, agile best practices, and KPI-driven delivery to ensure our platforms scale efficiently and deliver maximum business value.Tasks and responsibilities Handle release planning & operations by overseeing end-to-end release planning, scheduling, and execution for the platform teams, ensuring timely, high-quality, and reliable software releases.Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure team performance, delivery, and operational health, and leverage data-driven insights to inform decisions and drive improvements.Identify, implement, and champion process enhancements to continuously improve processes and boost team productivity, quality, and delivery speed.Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.Be responsible for capacity planning by strategically forecasting and managing team capacity, ensuring optimal resource allocation across multiple projects and initiatives.Manage budgets by developing, tracking, and overseeing budgets for software development operations, aligning with organizational goals and driving cost efficiency.Serve as the primary liaison between engineering teams, business stakeholders, and leadership, ensuring clear, timely, and transparent communication on program status, risks, and outcomes.Proactively identify risks and develop effective mitigation strategies to ensure successful program delivery.Requirements Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or Bachelor's degree with more years of relevant work experience.Several years of professional experience in program or delivery management in a software development environment, ideally with a focus on data, analytics, GenAI/Agentic AI, or application platforms with distributed teams.Sound knowledge of capacity planning, budget responsibility, and release management in agile, dynamic environments.Experience in defining, tracking, and reporting KPIs.Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP), data integration, and DevOps is an advantage.Proven experience in the introduction and application of agile methods (e.G., SAFe, Scrum, Kanban); corresponding certifications (e.G., Scrum Master, Product Owner) are a plus.Strong interdisciplinary team leadership and priority management skills.Strong communication and organizational skills in English, as well as confident stakeholder management.Spanish and German language skills are a plus.Please note: The job title used in this advertisement may differ from the official contractual title.We are continuously working to design the best experience for you.Here are some examples of how we will take care of you:Flexible working conditionsLife and accident insuranceHealth insurance at a competitive priceInvestment in your learning and developmentIf you have read this far, what are you waiting for to apply?We want to know more about you!#J-*****-Ljbffr
