Azure Platform & Cloud Engineer

• Help design, build and continuously improve the clients online platform.
• Research, suggest and implement new technology solutions following best practices/standards.
• Take responsibility for the resiliency and availability of different products.
• Be a productive member of the team.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (IaaS & PaaS).
• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud platforms on Microsoft Azure.
• Build, deploy, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, ARM Templates, and Bicep.
• Provision and manage Azure infrastructure services, including compute, storage, networking, and platform services.
• Design, implement, and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines to automate application and infrastructure deployments.
• Configure and manage Azure API Management (APIM), including end-to-end setup from scratch.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• Ensure platform security, governance, compliance, and identity management using Azure AD (Entra ID).
• Optimize Azure environments for performance, scalability, availability, and cost efficiency.
• Support application teams with deployments, troubleshooting, and platform-related best practices.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into Azure cloud solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, and platform standards.
• Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM Templates, Bicep).
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Strong knowledge of Azure Networking, including VNet, NSG, Load Balancer, VPN, and related services.
• Experience with Azure compute and storage services.
• Proficiency in scripting using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• Strong understanding of Azure AD (Entra ID) and Identity & Access Management (IAM).
• Basic knowledge of Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) is preferred.
• Hands-on experience in Azure API Management (APIM) setup and configuration from scratch.
• Ability to work closely with Dutch-speaking stakeholders in a collaborative environment.
