Job description
As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you'll build the foundation of modern cloud platforms. You'll manage and automate Azure infrastructure, ensure a secure and reliable hosting environment, and enable hundreds of customers to run their SaaS solutions with confidence every day. Through smart automation and Infrastructure as Code, you'll continuously improve the platform's availability, scalability, and overall performance.
You'll work with technologies such as Microsoft Azure, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Bicep, PowerShell DSC, Azure DevOps, and Azure PaaS services. Together with an experienced Cloud Platform Team, you'll optimize the cloud environment, automate deployments, and strengthen platform security. Thanks to your cloud expertise and passion for innovation, you'll help ensure the Azure platform remains stable, secure, and future ready.
Requirements
- 4-5 years of relevant experience in a professional cloud or infrastructure environment.
- Handson experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably Bicep.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
- Experience with PowerShell DSC and infrastructure automation.
- Knowledge of Azure PaaS services, networking, storage, and security.
- Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory.
- Familiarity with security and patch management tools such as Microsoft Defender, Ivanti Security Controls, or Tenable.
- A proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
- Curious about new technologies and eager to keep learning.
- Enjoy working collaboratively within a professional engineering team.
- Fluent in English.
- EU citizenship or a valid permanent residence or partner visa (no visa sponsorship available).
